MSCSI has been interviewed again, and - not to sound ungrateful for all the other interviews we've done - this time we're really excited. Toward The Stars is a shop/blog/community that was created to help reduce the threats to girlhood that crush our girls' true nature and potential. They focus on upending gender stereotypes that only make girls obsess about body image, prevent them from taking leadership roles, limit their interests in sciences and math, and cause them to feel self-conscious when playing sports. You can see why we're so pleased to feature on their blog. The interview itself is available here: www.towardthestars.com/blog/news/a-new-breed-of-super-hero-super-brainy-not-super-saucy/ and it's one of the most enjoyable ones I've read with the team. I think it shows just how much Will, Suze, Sarah and Riven care about MSCSI and about showing how women and girls can be so much more than the media thinks we can be. I'd love it if you all went over and read what they have to say, but more importantly look at what Toward The Stars are doing and join the conversations with the community. Honestly, it's waking up to things like this that makes me really proud to be a part of MSCI.

What a fantastic interview! I'd never heard of Towards the Stars before... just been looking at it, and what an amazing organisation. I love what they are doing. It's so important. I'll go and look at their boards as well. I'm really happy they did an interview about MSCI on there!

A really great piece--I've only skimmed it on the train, but I've put it in Pocket in hopes of reading more asap.
