We know that Cat's a superhero, and we know her superpower is her intelligence, but what sort of costume is she going to wear? Anyone got any ideas yet?
It'll have to be practical, and we know it won't involve high heels or skimpy hot pants, so I'm guessing jeans or combats, and probably trainers. I'm hoping for a cat-themed mask, though that might stray a bit too far into Catwoman territory, but it would fit with the name!

I'm really looking forward to seeing her costume. ;D
I think we can safely assume that it wont be in the style of wonderwoman but I think you're on the right track with trousers/combats. I think that there might be a cat logo somewhere even if it's just her cat necklace that we've seen her wear.
It will be interesting to see if her cosutme follows/subverts any of the typical superhero costumes tropes
Will she don a cape or not?

Ooh! Heading to FB then.
I'd love there to be a cape because capes are awesome. But they're also not very practical so I don't know if Cat'd go for wearing one.

We finally get to see Cat's costume. Black boots, cargo pants, and sweater + helmet. I'm assuming they put the cat logo on the front. Smart using the long coat so she doesn't have to change in the bushes.
I like it so far, but I wouldn't mind it changing slightly over time. I like that Cat has multiple real life outfits (i always find it weird in comics or cartoons where someone has ONE real life outfit). Hopefully as she gains experience/ her own identity through her super-hero self her costume will become more individual and unique.

I hadn't thought of it like that. That's a really good point actually. Kind of links in to what Lindsay was saying in the response thread about not having to watch Cat undress. Makes her more realistic actually because I imagine very few people would be comfortale stripping off behind a bush on a regular basis! Homer Simpson has been rocking the white shirt and blue jeans for 24 years!  |
