Seeing as we're all cat lovers of one kind or another (I will stop with the puns soon, promise) and seeing as I'm putting off editing this paper by looking at cat pictures on the internet, I thought I'd post some photos of my two monsters. The black one is Milo (short for Milagro, which is an episode of The X-Files) and the tabby is Loki, who lives up to his name. They're three and half and they're brothers, though you never'd think it. Loki is the more adventurous one, and he's the mouser (and the ratter, the rabbiter and the slow wormer). Where I live backs on to an old railway line so there's plenty of places for them to catch and kill creatures before bringing them home for me. Loki does this far too often for my liking. Milo is my home bird. He doesn't go very far - he's happy following me around the house talking non-stop (seriously, he complains about everything) and knocking all the magnets off the fridge when he's decided I'm not paying him enough attention. I've actually had to put him on a diet because he steals his brother's food and is getting quite podgy.

Aww they're lovely and have such awesome names. I would love to have some cats but my landlord doesn't allow pets so I have to make do with googling pictures of random cats instead! If I did have cats though I think I'd call them Burke and Hare! The bringing home prey to you sounds like fun (sarcasm!), do you find it in random places?

They look great ! *-* I love cats, and I 'owned' (as much as you can own a cat... I could also say 'I was owned' xD) several ones when I was a kid. But now, I can't have any pet. I love being able to suddenly go crazy and leave my flat for a while, and I don't want to be stuck, or forced to plan everything in advance because of the need to have somebody taking care of the cat ^^".

Oh yeah, I'm definitely their human rather than them being my cats! It can be a pain sometimes when I want to go away and have to find someone to keep an eye on them for me. Luckily I live pretty close to my parents so my dad usually pops in if I'm away.
I do Sophie! The worst one was half a rabbit left behind the living room door. I found a hind leg behind the settee and the spinal column under the dining table about half an hour later.

Beth, how do you embed photos like that? I would like to introduce you all to a classic feline? Sophie, I can't have pets either, so I watch videos of the animals I would love to have as pets but could never house - kinkajous and fennec foxes. You can either paste the URL into your post, highlight it and then click the little icon of a landscape next to the envelope logo in the quick tags, or you can write [ img ] before the URL and [ /img ] after it (removing the spaces)
