Suze Shore - Artist
Suze Shore is a freelance illustrator who enjoys working from talented writers' scripts, as on her own she defaults to drawing the antics of her cat.
She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mount Allison University (New Brunswick) and an Illustration Certificate from Algonquin College (Ottawa), and isn't sure why it took her so long to realize that sequential art is Where It's At.
Her work with Dr. Will Brooker began with the chance posting of some Batgirl fanart to an online forum and has somehow led to many amazing opportunities in character design, culminating thus far in the illustration of My So-Called Secret Identity: Issue 1.
Suze currently lives in Ottawa, Ontario with her husband, their two cats, and the ever-present feeling that if she's not busy then she's doing something wrong.

Sarah Zaidan - Artist
Sarah Zaidan holds a B.F.A. in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design, an M.A. in Illustration and a Ph.D. that claims to be in the History of Art, Design and Architecture, but is actually in superheroes, both from Kingston University London.
Her Ph.D thesis, The Adventures of MetaMan: The Superhero as a Representation of Modern Western Masculinity (1940-2010,) first put her in contact with Dr. Will Brooker, who became her thesis supervisor and eventual collaborator. After developing the interactive memory boxes with Dr. Brooker for Anniversaries of Alice in 2012, she brought her penchant for recreating traditional art media through digital platforms to My So-Called Secret Identity in 2013. A long-time enthusiast of superheroes and collage, Sarah is thrilled to be part of a project that incorporates two of her favorite things!
