So, as you may have read by now, MSCSI was created by scholars and fans of comic books that were frustrated by the one-note representations of women they encountered. I've seen this around and about and am seriously tempted--but does anyone here have any sense of what the cost outlay with regards to course materials is going to look like? My library access is pretty mediocre at present, so I'm hoping for not having to buy a bunch of TPBs or the like. Admittedly, my husband and I do have a bunch of things that could be on the reading list, but I cannae be certain.
