'Evening all!
I joined because Bethan's sat opposite me right now and made me do it. I don't like...ever look at the internet or anything.
Ha, jokes, I'm actually a bit addicted to the internet (Bethan IS right in front of me though). My name's Nia (stonecypher to some!) and I'm a PhD student at Aberystwyth University, researching the marketing and reviewing of controversial films and their remakes. I am also assistant director of the Abertoir Horror Festival (www.abertoir.co.uk) and I occasionally write for Brutal as Hell (www.brutalashell.com). As that might imply, my main love is film, and in particular horror, extreme, and genre cinema, although I'll happily watch and enjoy most things (although likely not a rom-com). Other than films I also like the usual stuff, like music, and the internet, and cats. I don't read nearly as much as I used to or as I should, but I'm hoping that post-PhD that will rectify itself!
Looking forward to the discussions!

Hello Nia! I've set up shop down in Kino-Eye, hope to see you over there at a later date so we can talk films. I tried to get my housemates to come online and natter, but they haven't even bothered to read the comic, so well done you for being a supportive friend, and well done Beth for being more tenacious than I.

Thanks for the welcome all!
And ha! Well, the issues the comic seeks to address interest me greatly, so that's something too! And I shall certainly wander on down the Kino-Eye!
