I really thought that Grnage Mannor was just a ploy to draw attention away from the secret base, I never even considered that it might house the secret base!
Interesting interior though, looks quite techincal and a contrast to the gym room (in that the former seems to represent brawn and this new room then brain)
Is anyone else struggling to get a hold on Urbanite? After Cat met him in the flesh (so to speak) it kind of made me question my previous theories about him, as have these last couple of pages.

I feel the same way.
The gym is nice. Its not 100% spartan no-fun. It has the posters, it as an aesthetic.
Same with the lab. You don't really need the hanging fishy bones to do lab work. It looks livable.
The control room looks more forbidding... but that could just be the giant tvs.
I wonder if cat will join up with the Urbanite? He can be flawed, but that doesn't mean he can't have good qualities too.

I don't think I actually specified the fishy bones in the script, so that might be Suze's addition. But anyway, it makes sense to me -- Urbanite is a big kid really, a hobbyist, someone who thinks it would be kinda fun to have a 'science lab' and gets the idea that a lab should probably have a big fish in it.
