You write really well Beth (sorry if that sounds a little patronising), the whole piece flows really well.
Really interesting subject matter a well. How mental and physical space affects interpretation is fascinating so it was nice to have your work as a case study for how the theory works in practise.
Also I think you're really brave for sharing some of the more personal stuff you wrote about.

I really want to think more about different kinds of spaces and the roles they play in our understanding of the text - it's really interesting!

I think this article is just excellent. I find it so compelling to think about how we read texts, and how this can change through the years. it's quite similar also with music, and how we can listen to certain songs, remembering the feelings we used to have years ago, when first listening. Well done, Beth!
